I've lost so many memories of my youth, but weirdly remember Wayne so vividly from Mr. Monaco's 6th grade class. He's still so young and adorable in my memory, so hearing of his sudden death is just so sad. I am so sorry for his family -- it sounds like he's had a wonderful life, full of love. Rest in peace, Wayne. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
'm sorry to hear of Wayne's passing. As i remember him-never a serious side -always a joke and a smile. He introduced me to the simple kid's pleasure of a good " dirty" limerick.("DerbyTown--which I still find myself singing these days!)As Jane mentioned-it was perhaps,Mr.Monaco's 6th grade class which gave me the best memories-Because of Wayne's keen fashion sense in '65 (?)and fondness for "dickies" mock (turtle-necks),his life should have ended a long time before.Monaco for some reason hated them and there was always a rumor that he would hang a student up by them on a blackboard hook.Sympathy for his family and friends.
Wayne my heart goes out to your family. You are in my prayers. I still see the smile that you always had. Be at peace. You will be surely missed. Rock on.
R.I.P. my friend thank you for all the wondeful memories you will forever be in my heart as well. To Jean, Kevin and family you are all in my thoughts and prayers God Bless.

Heartbroken...he was a good man. I'm sure he is telling jokes up there!
